「身心障礙組織與國際援助發展經驗分享」工作坊

根據聯合國估計，全球約有6.5億身心障礙者，約佔全球人口的百分之十。全球的身心障礙者中，約有百分之八十居住在發展中國家，並且大部份處於貧窮。目前估計，全球極端貧窮的人口中，也就是每天以低於1元美金維生，並缺發基本需要如食物、清潔飲水、衣物以及居所的人當中，五人有一人是身心障礙者。發展中國家的身心障礙者，無疑是弱勢中的弱勢。

伊甸基金會在此誠摯邀請您一同關心身心障礙與國際援助議題，讓我們一起把愛傳出去！

「反地雷與集束炸彈人權講座」與紀錄片「飛越地雷」放映會

請想像，當你徜徉在海邊，開心踏浪玩沙的同時，不小心踩到玻璃碎片而難過受傷，同樣更嚴重的情形在發生戰爭或結束後的地區，當地人民已經因誤觸地雷或集束炸彈的未爆彈而少掉一條腿或失去雙手。根據聯合國估計，平均每22分鐘，地球上就有一人因地雷喪生或傷殘。每年因誤觸地雷而喪生的2萬6千人當中，有九成是與戰爭無直接關係的老弱婦孺。因為地雷受傷的無辜者，可能是在田邊耕種的農夫，在小徑邊玩耍的孩童，在河邊洗衣的婦人，他們並不參與戰爭，但往往卻成為戰爭下的犧牲者，即使戰爭已成為歷史，但地雷仍危害著人民的未來。

伊甸基金會邀請您一起支持「愛無國界─支持全球反地雷」活動，一起關心我國以及全球的地雷問題，反對地雷或集束炸彈等不人道武器，把安全的居住環境還給當地民眾！

國際會議志工招募

★ 服務地點：

2010年6月24日（四）至26日（六）

台北縣政府大樓國際會議廳（臺北縣板橋市中山路1段161號）

★ 服務內容簡介：

1. 志工招募單位：伊甸社會福利基金會
2. 志工需求人數：20-30位(視會議規劃需求所定)。
3. 會議期間志工工作內容：
   -外賓接機人員；
   -會議報到接待人員；
   -外賓接待與協助；
   -晚宴協助；
   -外賓城市導覽陪同。
4. 志工招募專長：
   -語言能力：具備英語或日語接待及溝通能力；
   -有參與過國際會議的相關經驗尤佳；
   -相關科系尤佳(社會工作、社會學系、英語學系、日語學系、外交系、國際關係等)。
5. 志工說明會及國際禮儀課程：預計於6月19日- 20日舉辦，詳細時間將另行通知。

Have FUN in Hualien, Taiwan!!

In this early March we went to Hualien for the exploration of the accessible tourism. Hualien is such a beautiful place which must not be missed in Taiwan!! Let's take a look!!
